Newcastle Triathlon
The day finally arrived yesterday for Jonathan to compete in his first Triathlon. The Newcastle Triathlon was set in the scenic surroundings of Northumberland with a 750m lake swim, 24km cycle and then finally a 6.4km run. We think he did really well and completed his first sprint in 1hr 36 mins and was in the top third of the competition. He hasn’t learned his lesson as he’s also competing in the Bamburgh Triathlon. Jonathan’s children were there at the finish line to cheer him on and present him with his loom band medals!!- its amazing what kids can do with loom bands.
